HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office will be cracking down on drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs on Thursday, July 25th, by conducting a DWI Checkpoint in the area of Kennedy Blvd and Manhattan Ave in Jersey City. The primary purpose of this checkpoint is not to make arrests, according to Hudson County Sheriff Frank Schillari, but to promote public safety by deterring drivers from driving impaired.
