Floral Park-Bellerose Schools Host Summer Enrichment Program
From July 8 through August 2, the Floral Park-Bellerose Union Free School District is hosting a Summer Enrichment Program for its students. There are five programs that students may choose from, each one with various classes. One STEAM-focused program offers classes in edible sciences, coding, robotics, rocketry. There are also programs centered in sports and fitness, visual arts world languages and culture and performing arts.

3 firefighters hurt battling 4-alarm fire that burned through Hunts Point business
Three fighters were hurt while battling a four-alarm fire that burned through a Bronx business on Tuesday.The fire broke out in the business on Tiffany Street in the Hunts Point section just after 12:50 a.m.Heavy flames shot through the structure.It took hours for crews to get the fire under control.Three firefighters were taken to Jacobi Hospital. Rare Fungus That Kills Tens of thousand Of Trees Now In New York
