    Top-Searched Costumes of 2024

    1. Shrunken Head Bob

Courtesy of the 2024 Beetlejuice Beetlejuice release , searches for costumes inspired by the Tim Burton classic skyrocketed this year. Shrunken Head Bob was (somewhat shockingly) the most popular out of all costumes from the film. To get the look, turn to a vibrant yellow suit and striped tie. Or go store-bought with costumes that include inflatable shoulder pads and a shrunken head prop that straps on top of your head.

    2. Raygun

2024 Paris Summer Olympics breakdancer Rachel Gunn—aka Raygun—achieved her claim to fame with her controversial performance. Her dancing left such an impression that her outfit sparked Halloween costume interest this year. You might see that emerald green and yellow tracksuit and matching hat at more than one festive celebration this October. Bonus points: it's comfortable, too. And if you're hosting, serve up a couple dozen of those famous chocolate muffins , too.

    3. Delores

Another nod to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Delores (played by Monica Bellucci) is a simple yet bold costume choice. A gothic black dress, black heels, and her signature staples drawn across the face are all you need.

A cute combination of a clown and jester, Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus boasts a red and blue jumpsuit with round, poofy sleeves, and shorts. Topping off the circus-inspired getup is a two-armed jester's hat with matching color schemes and yellow bells.

Marvel fans (and Robert Downey Jr. fans) were in for a sweet treat this year after Marvel Comics announced Downey Jr.'s return as infamous villain Doctor Doom. Impressed by the casting and eager to see the beloved Iron Man actor return to the big screens, kids and adults alike are going all out with full-body armor and bright green capes this Halloween.
