It’s finally time—today, Sherwin-Williams released its selection for the 2025 color of the year. But it's not one but nine stunning shades. So if you’ve been thinking about re-decorating before the new year, take these colors as your inspiration.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, experts at Sherwin-Williams couldn’t choose just one color of the year for 2025. Instead, the brand went for something a little more innovative: the first-ever Color Capsule of the Year, designed to capture everyone’s soon-to-be favorite trendy colors and classic neutrals.

The palette includes nine best-selling shades that complement one another, so you can use just a few colors as accents or incorporate the full palette into your design scheme.

“It’s very special to commemorate our 15th Color of the Year anniversary by expanding to an entire capsule that is a modern, fresh take on color, with a balanced and usable assortment of shades,” said Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams, in a press release.

Although many of the colors are related to trends we'd love to see this year and next , experts at Sherwin-Williams made sure to pick colors that won't lose their momentum, so you can enjoy a timeless yet updated look anywhere you choose to paint.
