Over near Slaughter and Manchaca, I had this thing filled with a variety of books for all ages. This morning these two shameless middle aged women were attempting to take every last book from the little library, then they emptied out another around the corner afterwards. That’s not particularly decent of them. One or Two or maybe Three would be fine, but in general these books are for the neighborhood to have access to reading materials not for middle aged ladies to fill their back seats with never to return. Rant Over.

Moved into a 900 sq. ft. new duplex unit last month and man has this thing been pumpin’. Seems like it’s always on but not sure if it’s just the heat. I keep all the blinds closed every day and the AC guy came by a few weeks ago to look at the unit and make adjustments. He said the unit has one or two more summers left in it. I usually have the temp set to 75 during the afternoon which has been manageable but it often wants to creep up to 76-78.

Perseid Meteor and the Milky Way Near Cygnus, this was taken around 1:10am the morning of August 12 from Liberty Hill, Texas.. This was one of the brighter fireballs I saw between 12am and 3am. My count was around 30 an hour. Nikon D750, Sigma 12-24mm, 25 seconds, F4.8, ISO6400.

I’m assuming some kind of dredging but I’ve seen them do it before and was curious.
