    Creators Unite for “Cultures Biggest Brunch” in Beverly Hills

    The 2024 Culture Creators Innovators and Leaders Awards Brunch, hailed as "Culture's Biggest Brunch," was a masterclass in Black Excellence. On Friday, June 28 at the Beverly Hilton International Ballroom was the nexus for a room filled with people brimming with sensational energy and talents.

    Journalist Gia Peppers took the helm as host of the evening, paying homage to those who redefined Black culture across diverse industries. This exclusive gathering doubled as a fundraiser for The Culture Creators Foundation, a non-profit championing underrepresented students transitioning from high school to college and into industries where diversity is often lacking.

    The influential crowd included many of Hollywood's EBONY’s EVP of Content, Candace Rodney, a former honoree who is the embodiment of a progressive leader. The gathering was filled with legends, exceptional performances and rising stars, all driven by a collective mission to elevate and inspire the masses.

    Culture Creators, committed to amplifying the voices of people of color worldwide—from high schools to corporate boardrooms—the organization is known for curating engagements that matter. Tought-provoking discussions, including educational summits and annual awards- Culture Creators consistently honor those shaping the narrative.

    Backed by BET, energized by Möet Hennessy, and propelled by Lexus, the event saw support from Black-owned brands like The Doux, Afro Unicorn, and Rap Snacks. This gathering was as much about community as it was about celebration. This year's advisory board consisted on key figures: Courtney Lowery, Zerina Akers, Phylicia Fant, Valeisha Butterfield, James Lopez, Yvette Noel-Schure, Tiffany R. Warren, Morgan Debaun, Andre Watson, Andrielle Beamon, Tunde Balogun, Ingrid Best, Adrienne Alexander, Jon Gist, Chardae Jenkins, Ayiko Broyard, Caroline Yim, Carlos Fleming and Natina Nimene.

    The jewel of the brunch was the Innovator of the Year Award, presented to the incomparable Teyana Taylor. Taylor, whose impact spreads across music, fashion, film, and beyond, has earned critical acclaim for albums like "KTSE" and "The Album." Her director debut and acting finesse in "A Thousand and One" and "The Book of Clarence"affirm her as the ultimate creative.
