He had the distinction of being the first American to win the prestigious CCIO 4-star at the Concours Hippique International Officiel in Aachen, Germany, in 2021. NOAA hurricane hunters on Friday flew into Tropical Storm Beryl. The crew collected important data to send back to the hurricane center, which will be used to update models.
