This was probably the trickiest category for us. For one thing, there are so many great choices out there for rainfall-style showerheads. On top of that, it was tough to decide if we should go for a fixed rainfall showerhead or a model with a separate wand.

This showerhead and handheld combo comes in three different size options: 8 inches, 10 inches, and 12 inches. All three options include large square showerheads with a fantastic rainfall look and feel.
As great as rainfall showerheads look and feel, there’s an obvious downside with standalone options. That’s why we chose a model with a separate handheld showerhead. Just turn it on to wash all those hard-to-reach places. You have nine different spray patterns to choose from, and the water pressure is great.
Where downsides are concerned, some people have difficulty installing this model in small spaces since it’s so large. Of course, this is a one-time issue, so it’s not a big deal. The other problem will be a bit more of a hurdle for some people, however. There are only two finish options: Chrome and Matte Black .

Kohler is far and away our favorite brand when it comes to fixtures in any room, whether it’s the kitchen or a bathroom. The company makes some of the best toilets, sinks, faucets, and fixtures in the world, including showerheads and shower systems.
The Kohler K-26273-Y-CP Honesty Shower Kit is a fantastic middle-of-the-road model from Kohler. It’s not as expensive as some of the higher-end options, but it’s certainly not cheap. This model strikes the perfect balance between style, function, and cost.
You get a gorgeous 8-inch square showerhead that feels like a dream. It has a 2.5 GPM flow rate, so you get just the right amount of water pressure while you shower. Then, there’s also a separate handshower with excellent pressure and a bunch of different spray options. Finally, the Honesty Rite-Temp valve had a sleek knob and a very cool push-button diverter to switch between the showerhead and wand.
The only possible downside is the price, but you get what you pay for with Kohler. I personally only use Kohler faucets and fixtures in my home, and I don’t see that ever changing. They’re best-in-class when it comes to both form and function, and Kohler’s support is unmatched. In my experience, if you have a problem, Kohler will make it right every time without exception.
