He is a 14-week-old, born 2/11/24, neutered, 28lb, growing Bernese Mountain Dog-Poodle Mix Described by shelter staff as playful, outgoing, happy, excited, and snuggly.
Victim in Fatal Tuesday Crash Between Clarkston and Asotin Identified as CHS Student
UPDATED 5/29: CLARKSTON - The Washington State Patrol is investigating after an early Tuesday morning collision on Highway 129/Riverside Drive south of Clarkston. According to police, the driver of a 2006 Honda Civic was traveling northbound on the highway, near the intersection of Critchfield Road, just before 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Honda crossed the center line and collided with a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was driving southbound.
Shooting Stemming from Neighbor Dispute Leaves Lewiston Man in Critical Condition
LEWISTON – Lewiston Police responded to a shooting incident in the 400 block of 12th Street at 9:22 am. Officers arrived to find a 53-year-old Lewiston man with a single gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition as of 2 pm.

Semi Crash Closes Whitman County Road For Several Hours
STEPTOE BUTTE – A semi rollover closed a major Whitman County Road for several hours on Tuesday afternoon. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office Reports that the crash occurred on Hume Road near Steptoe Butte around 3:30. One person was injured and was taken by an ambulance to the hospital. The road was closed for about 5 hours. The truck was hauling lumber which was spilled across the road.

Wapato couple sentenced in connection to child's death from fentanyl
YAKIMA -According to court documents and information disclosed at the trial and sentencing, on March 29, 2020, Yakama Nation Police were dispatched to Samantha Tainewasher’s home in Wapato, Washington, to a report of an unresponsive fifteen-month-old child. When an officer arrived, Tainewasher ran toward the officer with her son in her arms. Unable to find a pulse and noting the blue tinge on the child’s lips, the officer began CPR. The child was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A toxicology report later found the child died from ingesting fentanyl.
