PULLMAN – Dog owners can receive a $20 Amazon gift card for enrolling their pet into Washington State University’s Drugs Optimized by Genomics (D.O.G.) study. To qualify for the study, dogs must be comfortable in hospital environments and taking oral medications. PULLMAN - Over the weekend, authorities say they located missing two-year-old Seraya Aung Harmon at a roadside checkpoint near Santa Ana, Mexico. According to Pullman Police, Seraya’s father, Aaron Aung, failed to return Seraya to her mother’s custody in Pullman on June 3, 2024. Aung’s fiancée, 21-year-old Nadia Cole, was reported missing to the Port of Seattle Police Department at the end of May, and was believed to be possibly traveling with Aaron and young Seraya, whose whereabouts were unknown.

Pullman Good Food Co-op Fails To Raise Money For Old Fireside Grille Building
The Pullman Good Food Co-op failed to raise the money to buy the old Fireside Grille building. The nonprofit needed to raise a half a million dollars by today for the down payment. The group announced on Facebook that they failed to raise the money. Co-op leaders will now decide what to do next in the search for a building for their store. KAMIAH - On May 20th and 21st, seventh graders from Grangeville Elementary and Middle Schools and fifth graders from Cottonwood Elementary School took a field trip to the South Fork Campground. This trip was the second part of the Salmon In The Classrooms program funded by a Rural Secure Schools grant. Czechoslovak Group Purchase Price for Vista Outdoor Divisions Bumps up Another $100 Million
LEWISTON - Vista Outdoor Inc. today announced that the company entered into an amended merger agreement with the Czechoslovak Group which increases the purchase price for the Kinetic Group divisions by $100 million to $2.1 billion. The amendment also increases the cash consideration payable to Vista Outdoor stockholders by $3.00 per share of Vista Outdoor common stock to $21.00 in cash.
Fire Along the Snake River South of Lewiston 49% Contained
LEWISTON - The Billy Creek Fire, located about 20 miles south of Lewiston along the Idaho side of the Snake River, was first reported just before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3. By 8:00 p.m. that same day, the fire had grown to over 1,500 acres. By noon on July 4, the fire was estimated at over 2,000 acres.
