Asotin County Sheriff’s Office Joins Operation Dry Water to Combat Impaired Boating
CLARKSTON – The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office has announced its participation in the annual Operation Dry Water campaign, a nationwide initiative focused on educating recreational boaters about the dangers of operating boats under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Harvard man Arrested by SWAT Team Following November Domestic Violence Incident Sentenced
MOSCOW - The 47-year-old Harvard man who was arrested by a SWAT team for a domestic violence incident last fall has been sentenced. Adam Long was sentenced Tuesday to three years probation by Latah County Second District Court Judge John Judge. Long previously pleaded guilty to felony aggravated domestic violence. He was arrested in November after he threatened a woman with a knife and shot at her tire as she was trying to leave his home. A SWAT team arrested Long the next morning at his home North of Harvard on State Highway 6. He spent 22 days in jail after his initial arrest.
