PULLMAN – Thanks to observant neighbors who spotted smoke, a fire at a single-family home on College Hill was contained before causing more extensive damage. The fire occurred at an unoccupied home on NE Cove Way. The initial 911 call came in at 10:40 AM, with the caller reporting smoke coming from the residence. As firefighters responded, additional callers provided more details, leading to a swift and focused response.
