Byron Days ‘Through the Decades’ next week
After a one-weekend break, the North Big Horn County summer festival season continues next week, July 12-13, with the annual Byron Days celebration. According to committee chairwoman Rebecca Bates, the 2024 celebration will carry the theme Through the Decades, a celebration of life in the community from days gone by to today.
UW announces honor rolls
The University of Wyoming has announced its honor rolls for the 2024 spring semester. Twenty-one students from Big Horn County were named to the President’s list. The President’s Honor Roll consists of regularly enrolled undergraduates who earned a 4.0 grade-point average for the semester. To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.
Majors all-stars drop heartbreaker in bracket play
The Big Horn County Little League Majors all-stars went 1-2 as the host of the All-Stars and Stripes Tournament held in Lovell over the weekend. In the opening game, the Mustangs’ bats were hot as they collected 10 hits in the four innings it took to the 10-run-rule Greybull, 10-0.
