A Kentucky man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after he was found with a young missing Alabama girl who he met on social media. Glendon Arnold Carpenter Jr., 44, will also remain on supervised release for life once he is released from prison, according to a Thursday statement by Middle District of Alabama Acting U.S. Attorney Kevin P. Chase Ends With One Arrested, Another Shot
What started as a police chase ended with one person arrested and another shot by a Louisville Police officer at a Walmart in Fairdale. Kentucky State Police said the chase started in Elizabethtown and ended in a crash at the intersection of Outer Loop and New Cut Road. Officers arrested one suspect at the scene of the crash, but police said the other suspect ran away toward the Walmart armed with a pistol.
