    Abilene man accused of sexually abusing child

    ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene man accused of sexually abusing a child has been arrested.

    James Westfall was taken into custody for Indecency with a Child Wednesday in connection to the allegations.

    Court documents state a child came forward in May 2024 and reported he had been sexually abused by Westfall from September to October of 2023.

    During an inverview with detectives, the documents state the victim described multiple instances of sexual assault.

    Westfall now remains held in the Taylor County Jail on a $70,000 bond.
