Death investigation underway at Lake Ft. Phantom Hill

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A death investigation is currently underway at Lake Ft. Phantom Hill in Abilene.

The investigation took place at Arrow Point Road on the east side of the lake Wednesday morning.

Police would not give much information regarding the investigation, but they did ask KTAB and KRBC journalists to not photograph a vehicle that belonged to the deceased because next-of-kin has not been notified.

It’s currently unclear if the deceased person was found in the vehicle, which is parked off the road, in the water or somewhere nearby.
