Homicide investigation underway in north Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A homicide investigation is underway in north Abilene.

Kenny Dean Shurley, 58, was found dead inside a home on the 900 block of Hickory Street around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say they were called to the home after someone found Shurley unconscious and bleeding from the nose.

Investigators are now considering Shurley’s death a homicide and are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact the Abilene Police Department at (325)673-8331 or to remain anonymous, call Abilene Crime Stoppers at (325)676-8477.
