Million dollar lottery ticket sold in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – One Texan is now $1 million richer after buying a Mega Millions ticket in Abilene.

According to the Texas Lottery , a one-million-dollar winning ticket for the August 23rd drawing was sold at DK #5, located at 2718 North First Street. Unfortunately, the winner did not have the multiplier, which would have increased their winnings to 3 million dollars.

No one has won the $535 million jackpot, which has now increased to $575 million and an estimated cash value of $285.5 million. The next drawing will take place on August 27.
