Gas prices average from Taylor County drop to $2.58

ABILENE, TEXAS ( KTAB/KRBC ) – The average gas price in Taylor County dropped from $3.02 to $2.58, and it has been improving since last year at $3.38.

According to AAA gas prices in the Abilene Metro area on September 12, 2023 the average was $3.38 for a regular gallon, $3.76 for a mid-grade gallon, and $4.09 for a premium gallon. Nationally, many are concerned about gas prices since they have increased the cost of living.

The National Average as of September 12, 2024 is $3.24, while Texas has an average of $2.79. In September 12, 2023 , the national average was $3.83, while Texas was $3.38.
