ABILENE, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – Another member of the Money Chasin’ Forever Crips gang is accused of committing several crimes in Abilene.

Ceasar Adams was taken into custody last week on new charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, Manufacture/Delivery of Cocaine, Unlawful Carry of Weapon, Federal, as well as previous warrants for Robbery, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Aggravated Assault, and Evading arrest.

The context of the new charges against Adams has not been disclosed, but court documents reveal additional information on the old allegations.

A document filed on the Evading Arrest incident claims officers attempted to pull Adams over in Abilene September 4 because they knew he did not have a drivers license, but instead of stopping, Adams fled the scene. He hit a curb and almost struck another vehicle, so officers stopped the pursuit, according to the documents, which claimed “Adams is a confirmed member of the Money Chasin’ forever gang. . . [which is] a local gang branching from the Crips gang in Los Angeles.”

Adams is also accused of holding a gun to his ex-girlfriend’s head and threatening to shoot her in June 2024, according to the documents.

Back in 2020, the documents state Adams was seen making deposits of four forged checks for at least $1,000 each.

Finally, the documents implicate Adams in a robbery at BZ Mart in July 2020 where he is accused of pointing a gun at a clerk and robbing him as well as the store with the help of another suspect.

Five other suspects who are part of the Money Chasin’ Forever Crips Gan g were previously sentenced in connection to a separate organized crime involving THC and drug dealing in Abilene.
