    Coleman PD seizes 74 grams of Methamphetamine, scales, and packaging materials

    COLEMAN, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – Donna Sue Walters and Scottie Dale Tubbs were both arrested and charged for allegedly Possession of a Controlled Substance.

    The arrest occurred on October 7, as the Coleman Police Department executed a search warrant in the 600 block of West 13th Street in Coleman, Texas.

    According to Coleman Police Department Chief Marty Baker, approximately 74 grams of Methamphetamine were seized, as well as scales, packaging material, and other items of drug paraphernalia. Coleman PD also found a handgun at the location.

    Both Walters and Tubbs are charged with the Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance over four grams and less than 200 grams in a drug-free zone. Tubbs also received an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

    Walters and Tubbs were transported to and placed in Coleman County Jail. Walters and Tubbs are each under a $75,000 bond for the Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance charge, and Tubbs has an additional $10,000 bond for the Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon charge.
