CISCO, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – A Cisco ISD employee is now back at work after an investigation found ‘no evidence of wrongdoing’.

Cisco ISD staff confirm the school district, as well as Cisco police and the Texas Rangers, began investigating this employee earlier this month after receiving allegations they may be having an improper relationship with a student.

“The independent investigation found no evidence of any wrongdoing by the employee. As a result, the employee has been allowed to return to work,” a press release from Cisco ISD explains.

Parents have expressed concern that Cisco ISD initially provided a press release on the investigation on their social media page then later deleted it.

KTAB and KRBC asked Cisco ISD Superintendent Ryan Steele why this happened, and he stated the district decided social media was not the right place to disseminate information about the investigation.

The press release has been live on the school’s website since October 7 .

No further information is available at this time.
