WYLIE, Texas (BCH Sports) – Something must have been in the air on Friday night, because there was a whole lot of points being scored across the Big Country.

This was the case at Hugh Sandifer stadium, as the No. 17 Bulldogs dropped 70 points in their win over the Palo Duro Dons.

Wylie looked dominant from the start, scoring a touchdown on their opening drive and then forcing a turnover that led to another score.

The Dons managed to keep things close, as the Bulldogs led 28-12 at the half.

Things got out of hand in the second half, as Wylie scored 42 points.

With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 5-1 on the year and 3-0 in district play.

They’ll be back on the road next week as they face Wichita Falls Memorial.

Meanwhile, the Cooper Cougars were defeated by Lubbock Cooper on the road:
