Driver barely injured after falling off Abilene interchange

ABILENE, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – A driver was barely injured after falling off an Abilene interchange Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at the Sam Waldrop Interchange off the Winters Freeway southbound around 10:30 a.m.

Police at the scene say a driver traveling southbound on Loop 322 had taken the Treadaway Boulevard exit when his he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to fly off the roadway and overturn.

This driver sustained minor injuries during the incident, and no one else was involved.
