    Pedestrian hospitalized after south Abilene crash

    ABILENE, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after a crash in south Abilene.

    At around 8:10 p.m. on October 16, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Nonesuch Road and South Clack in front of the Sedona Apartments. According to the police, a pedestrian and their dog were crossing the road and failed to yield the right of way. As a result, they were hit by an oncoming vehicle.

    The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    According to a bystander, the dog was hit by a vehicle and was in distress. According to police, the dog ran away after the collision but was found and is being held by Abilene Animal Control until the owner can pick the dog up.

    okay! let's figure this out w 3 choices because there's way to many crashes w and wo people in Abilene Texas:Pedestrians need tickets when hit,walk to a crossing section thats well lighted,pets and walker need flashing lights on their bodies while walking.
