    Crime Reports: Abilene man almost shot after suspect points gun at him, fires weapon

    Editor’s Note: The following arrest and incident reports were supplied by the Abilene Police Department. All information below comes from reports made by responding officers, and all suspects are considered not guilty unless determined otherwise in a court of law.

    Incidents

    700 block of Carver Street – Burglary of Habitation
    A victim reported an unknown suspect entered a home and stole items worth nearly $7,000.

    2900 block of Cedar Street – Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon
    A victim reported a known suspect pointed a firearm at him and said she was going to kill him. The gun then discharged and a bullet struck a door.

    100 block of Ambler Avenue – Forgery of Financial
    A victim reported she was part of an online check fraud scheme.

    3100 block of Bickley Street – Theft of Moto Vehicle
    A van was reported stolen in Idaho

    3000 block of W Lake Road – Criminal Mischief
    A suspect intentionally damaged property without the owner’s consent.

    600 block of N Jefferson Drive – Assault
    A victim reported he was assaulted by a suspect in north Abilene.

    3900 block of State Street – Criminal Mischief

    100 block of Clyde Street – Theft of Property
    A wallet worth $900 was reported stolen.

    1000 block of Chriswood Drive – Theft of Property
    A fish locator worth $4,000 was reported stolen.

    Glenn Ivey – Driving While Intoxicated, Unlawful Carrying Weapon

    Dusherick Moses – Warrant
