Bielsko-Biala, Poland hosted some epic downhill racing over the weekend at the second stop of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series. Watch the highlights from the women’s race below.

Marine Cabirou, who had a strong second half to her season in 2023, and placed third overall for the series, had a blazing run in Bielsko-Biala and held on for her third victory in the last five World Cup rounds.

Camille Balanche was second and Nina Hoffmann held on for third. After her run, Hoffmann told the broadcast team that she felt like she raced a little bit too conservatively.

Tahnée Seagrave had a fast run and was leading on the upper section of the course, but a bobble in the middle slowed her down. Seagrave finished in fifth, nearly four seconds back.

Perhaps the most impressive run, however, was from Vali Höll. The defending world champ had won semis and was the favorite to win her second straight round, but slid out on a slimy section at the top of the course.

Despite the fall, Höll quickly remounted her bike and charged down the second half of the course to finish 6th. The effort earned Vali some important points, allowing her to keep her lead in the overall standings.

With only 20 points separating Höll, Seagrave, and Balanche in the top three of the overall standings, it is shaping up to be an exciting battle!
