Bielsko-Biala Men's World Cup Downhill Highlights

Another action-packed weekend of World Cup racing wrapped up in Bielsko-Biala, Poland on Sunday.

After an incredibly tight enduro race, the downhill did not disappoint. Watch the highlights from the men’s race below.

This round, Irish youngster Ronan Dunne took the win, fresh off his win at Red Bull Hardline. After watching Ronan carry remarkable pace through various sections over the years, many felt that it was only a matter of time before he put a top-to-bottom run together, and this weekend he made that happen.

Overall leader Loic Bruni finished second and Loris Vergier was third after making an incredible save.

A couple of riders had heartbreaking falls on some very promising runs.

Lachlan Stevens-McNab, a second-year elite racer who flies somewhat under the radar because he shares a birth year with Jordan Williams and Jackson Goldstone, was over a second up on leader Loic Bruni when he washed out and went down. Stevens-McNab will certainly be a rider to watch going forward.

Dakota Norton won the semi-finals and was last to drop in and try and unseat his teammate Ronan Dunne. Unfortunately, Norton misjudged a loose high line at the top of the course and slid out. The elusive World Cup win that Dak has been chasing will have to wait.
