Nove Mesto World Cup Men's XCO Highlights

On Sunday, the third round of the Cross-country World Cup wrapped up in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic. With Tom Pidcock returning to the men’s field after a road racing block, the ingredients were in place for an exciting race.

Nove Mesto delivered. Watch the highlights from the men’s XCO race below.

In Nove Mesto, Pidcock did what he does best and rode away from the field for the win. He clearly did not forget how to handle his mountain bike during his stint on the tarmac.

Cross-country racing GOAT Nino Schurter proved he is still a force to be reckoned with and finished second, while his countryman Marcel Guerrini finished third.

Victor Koretzky and Chris Blevins, who sit first and second in the overall standings (and went 1-2 in Saturday’s short track!) struggled by their standards in the XCO. Koretzky finished 20th and Blevins finished 29th.

The Cross-country World Cup will return on the weekend of June 14-16 in Val di Sole, Italy.
