Real MTB 2024 Edits Drop

The X Games Real MTB competition has returned for the first time since 2021 and edits dropped today on the X Games website . Five riders and five filmmakers have now submitted their “most electrifying” ninety second parts for a chance to win X Games medals and prize money.

The 2024 rider line-up is:

Tom van Steenbergen (Vernon, BC)

Dylan Stark (Lake Elsinore, California)

Remy Morton (Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia)

Matt MacDuff (Kamloops, BC)

Kade Edwards (Llanfyllin, Wales, UK)

The full X Games Real MTB show will air on ESPN on July 23, though there will be an athlete watch-along on the X Games Twitch channel on June 27, where the winner will be announced. Viewers can also vote for their personal pick; a fan-favorite will be announced June 30 during the X Games Ventura broadcast.

Real MTB is part of the larger Real Series hosted by X Games that includes Real Ski, Real Street, Real Snow and Real MTB. The 2021 Real MTB competition featured Brage Vestvik , Cam Zink , Brandon Semenuk , Danny Macaskill , DJ Brandt , and Veronique Sandler , the competition's only female rider so far.
