Frameworks Bicycles: Asa & Angels World Champs Bikes

Frameworks Bicycles , not to be confused with Framework Bicycles , is an inspiring passion project turned pro. From the mind of Neko Mulally, Frameworks has been producing race-proven alloy/carbon enduro and downhill frames as an alternative to what was available on the market. Neko began tinkering with these alloy frames for himself as an experiment, but it has unfolded to produce a WC DH team and a run of frames available for everyday people to purchase.

In this video, Neko gives some insight into the new mountain bikes that Asa and Angel will pilot for the upcoming WC in Andorra. Rather than freshen up the old bikes, the team decided to build up some fresh rigs for their riders. The new “Lug and Tube” construction makes the frames much more precise and accurate regarding end results from a manufacturing perspective. The new frames use three main CNC pieces: the headtube lug, rocker pivot mount, and bottom bracket main pivot mount, making the entire system extraordinarily cohesive and precise.
