It’s not a Fast as Fuck edit, it’s not 50 to 01, it’s XC racing documented. I know what you’re thinking, and I agree. Bjorn is injecting an impressively fresh personality into cross-country, and I absolutely love it. The Trek Future team, in general, is coming correct; with Riley Amos crushing the WC this year, it’s hard to deny the talent the team is producing, and Bjorn hasn’t been that far off from Riley’s positions throughout the season, solidifying the potential that the youth hold.

“I just like sending S#!* and that's where I came from”

    - Bjorn Riley

But it’s not all about the podiums, and Bjorn has shown his style throughout the years and has gained incredible recognition this season, especially. When I say style, I’m not just talking about the way he handles the bike, but the style of all things. Bjorn is creative, letting his creativity bleed into everything he does. From illustrating to clothing and everything else. He is a character proving that XC doesn’t need to be as stuffy as it has been perceived. His ability to race at the world cup level while also keeping focus on the fact that we’re all riding bikes for fun, and why keep doing it if you aren't having fun?

This video exemplifies how Bjorn approaches the sport and keeps the fires of fun lit and stoked throughout the World Cup season. Stay tuned for more videos in this series documenting the “The Mundane yet Sporadic” life of Bjorn’s journey through the world of XC racing and creating his space in the sport.
