I can’t count the number of times I’ve hit replay on this project. The scoring, cinematography, timing, and overall vibes are immaculate. This new section of the 5620 trail has been in the works for some time now, and seeing Brett Rheeder, Dane Scott & Alan Mandel do their thing on this delightful ribbon of send is quite a spectacle.

This new section should be on everyone's shortlist next time they are in or around Revelstoke.

You can see some of the build updates on the Trail Co. Inc. Youtube , which offers insightful thoughts on the planning and execution behind trail work of this magnitude. Trail Co. Inc. owner, Alan Mandel had this to say about the build and completion of the trail.

"This was one of the most beautiful locations we have had the opportunity to build in and we wanted to approach this trail with every level of rider in mind.

We wanted to create safe, fun shapes that allow all riders to interpret the trail however they wish. It was really special to have Brett and the crew come out and showcase exactly this in the video with all the different line choices. We always go above and beyond on the builds and did everything we could to make the trail brakeless with endless flow. There’s plenty of options for riders, so anyone can choose their own flavor of how they ride it. You can even sit down through the whole section if you want, and it is still super fun.

The build was something out of a fairy tale; we had perfect moisture to construct everything we built and the best vibes. Huge shoutout to RMR for choosing the Trail Co team to get in there and crush it on this build."

The 5620 trail has always been well known for offering incredible flow for all levels of riders, and this new section just magnifies the trail's legendary status. The crew at Trail Co. really did something special, and this video does a fantastic job of showcasing the energy that went into the build.

Thank you to all the trail builders out there!
