Anytime , the 2024 mountain bike film collaboration between Anthill and Redbull is now available to stream online via Redbull TV. The movie, which debuted at Crankworx Whistler , is an at-times dizzying ride from one side of the globe to the other, that follows a high-profile pack of riders including Robin Goomes , Hannah Bergemann , Vinny Armstrong , Casey Brown , Lucy Van Eesteren , Harriet Burbidge-Smith , Carson Storch , Emil Johansson , Brett Rheeder , Thomas Genon , Patricia Druwen , Brage Vestavik , Kade Edwards , Cami Nogueria , and Vaea Verbeeck .

I've seen my fair share of MTB flicks, and, as I wrote in my full review, this one stands out primarily because it not only gives equal athlete spots to the gals - over half the athletes features are women - it also gives them equal airtime, which I'm pretty sure is a first for a mountain bike film.

There's also novelty in how those athletes get their screentime: cuts are rowdy, fast-paced, and ride-oriented, with very little to no interview footage detracting from the adrenalized action. If you still needed proof that we never need to go back to the "there's only room for one" era of women in adventure films, consider this it. As featured rider Hannah Bergemann puts it, ANYTIME ushers in a new era for freeride: "We will look back in a few years and it will seem like a pretty big chapter in the sport’s history."

Which is not to dismiss the action coming from the men's field: from a harrowing crash between Brett Rheeder and Brage Vestavik to the poetic dance between Emil Johansson and his bike, the guys give a worthy performance full of skill, emotion and entertaining personality.

To watch the film for the yourself, head to Redbull TV . Ski season may be coming for the northern hemisphere, but that doesn't mean you can't give the 2024 mountain bike season one last hurrah.
