Squamish, British Columbia, is a mountain biker's paradise, and this video showcases the beauty and splendor the area offers; Nate’s style accentuates the terrain even further. In this recent video, Nate channels the essence of what some might call the golden days of freeride. Big drops, saturated loamy forests, steep chutes, lush ferns, and a soundtrack that hits as hard as his riding all come together to create a beautiful segment highlighting some of the iconic locations in the sea-to-sky area.

“In the Sea to Sky corridor, there are many talented mountain bikers. It’s hard to be 100% creative and unique, but I always try to add my own touch to what riders before me have built. My goal is to keep progressing with bigger features and new terrain.“ - Nate

Nate rides for Canfield Bikes, with who you may be familiar from our recent spotlight on Chris Canfield and his new project, Vampire Bikes . Nate is also supported by North Shore Billet , who is responsible for creating some beautifully machined bicycle components in Canada. They not only look good, but they have to stand up to some serious abuse if Nate is putting his trust in them.

The riding in this video has to be seen to be believed, and I would say this segment is a must-watch, even if you aren’t a die-hard mountain biker.

Nate also gives a warm shout-out to all the builders who dedicate their time to maintaining the trails that have put Squamish on the map as a must-ride destination.

Credits to the builders: Will, Ted, Dave, Alexis, Honza, Gabe, Enrique, Matt, & others
