    Biloxi, Gautier fishermen set saltwater fishing records (Photos)

    BILOXI, Miss. ( WKRG ) — Two fishermen have set state records after the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified their catches.

    Spanish Fort murder-suicide under investigation

    According to an MDMR press release, Nathan Bosarge of Biloxi and Mark Kleinpeter of Gautier set records for saltwater fishing for June.

    Here are the details:

    • Nathan Bosarge: All tackle record for Golden Tilefish (Lopholatilus chamaeleonticeps) with a fish weighing 23 pounds, 3.2 ounces.
    • Mark Kleinpeter: Using a spear, all tackle record for Permit (Trachinotus falcatus) with a fish weighing 11 pounds, 11.2 ounces.
