A closer look at Cruisin’ The Coast, as South MS event inches toward registration record

This year’s Cruisin’ The Coast, which runs through October 13, is proving to be another big one.
According to Cruisin’ The Coast Executive Director Woody Bailey, there were 9,602 registered cruisers as of the end of the day on Wednesday, still just short of the record of 10,070 cruisers set last year.
Bailey says that this year Cruisin’ The Coast did already pass one benchmark: it welcomed its first registrant from New Zealand. And that registrant isn’t the only international one, according to Bailey. So far there are three cruisers from the United Kingdom and four from Canada.
With a weekend’s worth of Cruisin’ The Coast still to go, the event could see more registered cruisers and potentially break the record.
