Just days after South Mississippi learns Dirt Cheap and Hudson’s Treasure Hunt are closing comes the notice that another national restaurant chain closed its Gulfport location.

It’s too late for another taste of Nashville hot wings or whiskey-glaze burger in Gulfport.

TGI Fridays at the Crossroads shopping center off U.S. 49 is the latest to close in South Mississippi. Red Lobster abruptly closed in May at The Promenade in D’Iberville, and Krispy Kreme closed in March in Gulfport and Ocean Springs.

A dozen TGI Fridays locations closed nationwide in September and more have closed in October in addition to the Gulfport store.

According to the company website, there is one restaurant still open in Louisiana, at Harvey near New Orleans.
