Trump Calls Kamala Harris 'Beautiful', Compares Her To Wife Melania

Former President Donald Trump called Vice President Kamala Harris "beautiful" and compared her beauty to his wife, Melania , in an interview with Elon Musk .

On Monday (August 12), Trump joined Musk for an interview on X spaces, where he made bizarre comments about Harris' cover photo on the latest edition of Time Magazine.

“I saw a picture of her on Time Magazine today. She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live,” Trump said of Harris. “She looked very much like our great first lady, Melania."

“She didn’t look like Camilla,” the former president added, purposely mispronouncing the Democratic nominee's name. “Of course, she’s a beautiful woman and we’ll leave it at that.”

“Right… well yeah, well, you know,” Musk responded before changing the subject.

At another point during the interview, which was reportedly riddled with tech issues, Trump attacked Harris as a "terrible" leader.

“We need smart people, and people that have the ability to lead. She doesn’t have that ability. Can you imagine her with chairman Xi [Jinpin, President of the People’s Republic of China]," Trump said.

Musk responded it "would be silly."

“She is terrible, she is terrible,” Trump said. “She’s getting a free ride.”

The interview came after Musk endorsed Trump for the 2024 presidential election last month. After his interview with Trump, Musk said he would also be willing to interview Harris before the election.

“Happy to host Kamala on an 𝕏 Spaces too,” Musk wrote on X.

In response to the interview, Harris' campaign called out Trump and Musk as “self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024.”
