Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has again made WNBA history.

On Sunday (September 15), Wilson put up 29 points during the Aces' 84-71 win against the Connecticut Sun, becoming the first WNBA player to hit 1,000 points in a single season.

The WNBA shared a video on social media of Wilson sharing her historic moment with her parents after the game.

Wilson's four-figure achievement came just days after she set the league's single-season scoring record during the Aces' Wednesday (September 11) win against the Indiana Fever. Wilson surpassed the previous record set by Seattle Storm All-Star Jewell Loyd .

This season Wilson is also averaging a league-best of 27 points and 12.1 rebounds per game. Her career average is 21 points per game, tying with Cynthia Cooper for the best output in WNBA history.

The Aces are set to close out the regular season with games against the Seattle Storm and Dallas Wings this week. Wilson could be on her way to earning the third MVP award of her career.
