Sarah Huckabee Sanders Knocks Harris For Not Having Biological Children

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders jabbed at Vice President Kamala Harris for not having any biological children, saying she "doesn't have anything keeping her humble."

On Tuesday (September 17), Huckabee Sanders spoke at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Flint, Michigan, where she took aim at the Democratic presidential nominee, per ABC News .

Huckabee Sanders said her children were a "permanent reminder of what’s important," adding that they "keep me humble."

"You can walk into a room like this where people cheer when you step onto the stage and you might think for a second that you’re kind of special," Huckabee Sanders told the rally crowd. "Then you go home, and your kids remind you very quickly you’re actually not that big of a deal."

"So my kids keep me humble," she continued. "Unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn't have anything keeping her humble."

Huckabee Sanders' remarks come after Sen. JD Vance's comments about women without children resurfaced amid his bid for the vice presidency.

In 2021, Vance made a jab at Harris, saying she was among a group of "childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made." The Ohio senator told Fox News that the group wanted "to make the rest of the country miserable too."

Vance also previously said that voters without children should be subjected to a higher tax rate.

Harris is the stepmother of two children, Cole and Ella Emhoff , from her marriage with her husband, Doug Emhoff .

Kerstin Emhoff , their biological mother, spoke out about Huckabee Sander's jab on social media.

"Cole and Ella keep us inspired to make the world a better place," Kerstin Emhoff wrote on social media.

"Kamala Harris has spent her entire career working for the people, ALL families. That keeps you pretty humble," she added.
