Three-vehicle crash shuts down I-15 for several hours, sends three to hospital
BINGHAM COUNTY, Idaho (KUTV) — A three-vehicle collision left southbound I-15 blocked for three hours and sent three to the hospital, including one man from Utah. Idaho State police officers said the crash occurred at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, on southbound I-15 at milepost 97 in Bingham County.

BLACKFOOT, Idaho — Idaho State Police is investigating a three-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon on southbound Interstate 15 at milepost 97 in Bingham County. A 25-year-old male from Riverside, Utah, drove southbound on Interstate 15 in a Ford pickup truck. The truck hit a compact car occupied by a 20-year-old male driver and a 20-year-old female passenger, both from Boise. The car was slowing down for backed-up traffic. The car then collided with a GMC pickup truck occupied by a 62-year-old male and a 62-year-old female passenger from Pocatello. The car proceeded to roll and came to rest on its roof. The Ford truck came to rest in the median.
