TOWN OF MAINE, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The 2024 Greater Binghamton Airshow will take flight this weekend.

The air show will be held at the Greater Binghamton Airport on Saturday and Sunday.

It will feature exciting acts from all over the country including the US Navy Blue Angels. They arrived at the airport yesterday evening.

The U-S Marine Core F-35B Lightening II will also be performing twice per day. And there will be demos from various fighter jets, trainer aircrafts, and aerobatic planes. One of the first ever made wooden jets will also take flight.

Airshow Coordinator David Schultz says you won’t want to miss this unique show.

“This is great aerial entertainment. Air Shows are only second to major league baseball in annual attendance. So, air shows are very widely attended throughout the United States and Canada, pretty much throughout the world. So, there’s something for everybody as soon as you enter the gates here,” said Schultz.

Schultz says there will also be displays, exhibits, and tours detailing different aircrafts.

The Airshow will take place from noon to 4 with the Blue Angels taking off at around 3 on Saturday.

Tickets can be purchased online at BinghamtonAirShow.com

Parking arrangements can be found there as well.
