BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The wunderkinds at KLAW Industries are getting more help in bringing their innovative cement alternative to market.

KLAW and its partner Clarkson University are receiving a $65,000 grant from FuzeHub, a non-profit that supports manufacturing in New York State.

The grant program, which is supported by Empire State Development, is designed to spur technology development and commercialization.

KLAW uses recycled glass to produce its signature product Pantheon which uses less energy to produce than traditional cement.

Concrete using Pantheon has been used in a number of projects by the City of Binghamton and the New York State Department of Transportation.
