JOHNSONCITY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The CEO of UHS stopped by the Binghamton Rotary Club for lunch, and to talk about its growing footprint in our community.

President and CEO of United Health Services, John Carrigg was the guest speaker at this week’s Binghamton Noon Rotary Club meeting.

Carrigg spoke about the company’s recent projects including the new, $170 million, six story, Wilson Main Tower in Johnson City. Plus, the 24-hour pharmacy and daycare center in JC that opened in the Spring.

Carrigg says the Wilson Tower’s second patient care unit is set to open on August 20, with two more units opening over the next several months.

“It’s really great to see so many things happening. We’ve got a strategic plan that we’ve been working on over the last several years. We’ve worked our way through the pandemic, I think we’re through the pandemic for the most part. I think we’ve emerged stronger, and serving the community in so many more ways,” said Carrigg.

He says with UHS growing its presence on Main Street in Johnson City, it’s more convenient for patients to move from one to another.
