Pullman Building Supply Going out of Business-Closing Doors Late November
PULLMAN - Pullman Building Supply will be closing its doors this fall. Moscow & Pullman Building Supply announced the closure of its Pullman location with a press release Friday morning. Managers say there isn’t enough demand to sustain the Pullman store. The statement says the decision was not made lightly and that changes in the market and future economic forecasts led to the difficult decision.
Blondie cancels August & September shows
Blondie has announced the cancelation of their upcoming tour dates, although they did not offer up a reason why. “We are saddened to announce the cancellation of several upcoming Blondie concert dates during August and September,” the band shares on Instagram. “This was a hard decision to make, and we understand how disappointing this news is for everyone. We will keep you further informed as soon as possible.”

FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A former aluminum smelter near Ferndale is facing a lawsuit for violating air quality standards. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) filed the suit on behalf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) against Alcoa’s Intalco Aluminum plant on July 18 in the U.S. District Court in Seattle. The DOJ claims Intalco exceeded the emissions limits set by the Clean Air Act every day between Sept. 2019 and Aug. 2020.
