'Wicked' returns to Seattle's Paramount Theatre; tickets go on sale in July
SEATTLE - The acclaimed musical "Wicked" will return to Seattle's Paramount Theatre from November 6 through December 1. Tickets for the highly anticipated engagement go on sale Monday, July 29 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at STGPresents.org and ticketmaster.com, by calling 1-800-982-2787 or in person at The Paramount Theatre Box Office (open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

Mercantile to open second Wenatchee Avenue location in August
WENATCHEE — Mercantile, a local co-working space company, is expanding with a second location on Wenatchee Avenue. Mercantile first opened its doors in 2019 at the Ellis-Forde building at 14 N. Wenatchee Avenue with 21 office spaces. The company has been well-received since its launch, leading owners Rick and Cory Wray and Jeff and Heather Ostenson to open a second location.

Passengers wait for hours at SEA Airport due to global service outages
SEATTLE — Some passengers at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) were stuck for hours into Friday morning due to global service outages that grounded planes. The outage stems from a software update by the company CrowdStrike - a cybersecurity firm that provides services to Microsoft. The update included a "defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts," that knocked out access to computer networks all over the globe.
Neil Weiss sworn in as Edmonds Municipal Court judge
Neil Weiss was sworn in Thursday as the new Edmonds Municipal Court judge. Doing the honors was his father, Snohomish County Superior Court Judge Bruce Weiss. The Edmonds City Council voted in May to confirm Mayor Mike Rosen’s appointment of the younger Weiss – an Everett defense attorney – as the city’s new municipal court judge. Weiss replaced former Municipal Court Judge Whitney Rivera, who was appointed to the Snohomish County Superior Court.
