BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Sanford Health is going to offer sports physical events for student-athletes for the 2024-25 school year.

According to a news release, student-athletes need to have an annual sports physical when they participate in school-sanctioned sports and need to have that completed before the first day of practice.

Community events will be in Bismarck on July 31, August 7, and August 14 from 5:30-8 p.m.

You can schedule an appointment at:

• Sanford South Clinic by calling (701) 323-6990
• Sanford Children’s Campus, Building A by calling (701) 323-5437
• Sanford North Mandan Clinic by calling (701) 667-5100

Sanford Sports will also have sports physicals from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at some of the high schools on these dates:

• Bismarck High School on July 22
• Century High School on July 25
• Legacy High School on July 29
• All schools on August 1

Appointments are highly encouraged, you can make one by calling (701) 232-1125

The Brave Center in Mandan is also where Sanford Health will offer sports physicals during these times:

• July 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• August 2 from 8 a.m. to noon

Appointments should be made and you can do that by calling 701-323-5437.

The visit costs $35 and is due when you arrive. You should also bring the state sports physical form and other forms that can be found online with the parent portion filled out and signed.

If you are unable to attend any of these events, you can schedule an appointment with your primary care provider.
