    Head over to the State Capitol for Safety Day in August

    BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Safe Kids Bismarck-Mandan and Sanford Health are working with other agencies to host Safety Day.

    The free event is taking place on Friday, August 9 from 1-6 p.m. outside of the North Dakota State Capitol building.

    Western Plains Public Health offers walk-in vaccines for back-to-school

    Families can enjoy the activities while also learning about wellness, including hands-only CPR, weather safety, cooking safety, pet safety, and baby-proofing.

    There will be a bounce house, face paint, a food truck, bicycle helmet fitting, an obstacle course, and hands-on activities.
