Ferris State plays first GLIAC game against conference newcomer Roosevelt
BIG RAPIDS - The Ferris State Bulldogs open up GLIAC play on Saturday as they welcome in the Roosevelt Lakers. The Bulldogs are coming off of an historic performance last week, putting up 84 points in their win over American Internatioanl College. As GLIAC play begins it’s a new challenge for the Bulldogs, welcoming Roosevelt to the GLIAC. “Probably going to feel themselves through in regard to, The GLIAC. You know, it’s hard to know for them. They’ve got a lot of preparation for us, we only have to really worry about one new opponent that’s them, but looking forward to it,” Said head coach Tony Annese. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 at Top Taggart Field.
Ferris State hockey opens up their season on Friday at home against Miami (OH)
BIG RAPIDS - The Ferris State Bulldogs will open up their 2024-25 champaign at home against Miami (OH) on Friday. This is the 50th season of Ferris State Hockey, and the 47th season of them playing at the division 1 level. Bob Daniels will be the head coach of the Bulldogs in his 33rd season with the team.
